Help younger students build early literacy skills and older students develop their ability to understand and communicate ideas. Applying the proven principle of visual learning, students create graphic organisers with pictures, text and spoken words. Students build concept maps, diagrams and webs. These visual tools help them synthesise, analyse and evaluate information. The SuperGrouper® tool helps early learners sort and categorise. Students use Kidspiration to progress through the writing process, developing well-organised stories and reports. In Picture View, they create graphic organisers to brainstorm and organise ideas, then transfer work to Writing View to develop a draft. Kidspiration v2.1 now allows students to draw or write directly on interactive whiteboards and Tablet PCs. Students learn to sort, group, classify and compare by dragging words and symbols into SuperGrouper shapes that represent a topic or concept. Students can now create Venn diagrams. Early readers and English language learners use Kidspiration's library of 1,200 symbols to convey ideas and relationships. The new Symbol Maker tool makes it easy for students to draw personalised symbols to include in graphic organisers.
