The Dana is ideal for field trips and other activities away from the classroom. The screen display can be rotated through 90 degrees in either direction allowing it to be used as an electronic clipboard, The Dana is light (less than 1Kg), has a full sized UK keyboard and a large backlight LCD screen. As well as the standard Palm™ OS applications of Address Book, Diary, To Do List and Notepad, the Dana is supplied with AlphaWord, a fully featured word processor with spell checker and thesaurus. The Dana includes Office Suite applications, providing integration with Microsoft Word and Excel. AlphaWord is fully file compatible with Microsoft Word running under Windows or Macintosh operating systems.
Also included are features for students with physical disabilities (sticky keys and repeat control) and a keyguard and angled rests are available. The Dana is supplied with a rechargeable battery pack and UK AC adapter.
