The ClassMate Reader is a new portable text reader designed to boost reading and learning independence. Students can listen to the audio version of their textbooks and study materials, while following the highlighted text on screen. Students gain access to their curricular materials anywhere and anytime with this easy-to-use device.

ClassMate Flash Video

Using full-colour touch screen or navigation buttons, you can use the built-in speaking dictionary or interact with text to add bookmarks, voice recording, or highlighting. The display can be configured to a student's exact preferences, including font type, text size, colour, line spacing, letter spacing and the scrolling speed of text. The ClassMate Reader stores files on a removable SD flash memory card. It can play various electronic book formats including the new NIMAS (National Instructional Material Accessible Standard) format, DAISY, Bookshare.org, and txt files. It also plays MP3 audio files." with "A downloadable update is coming soon that will enable the ClassMate Reader to play MP3 audio files."
