Boardmaker helps teachers create paper communication overlays, here is a graphic database of all the Picture Communications Symbols in bitmapped clip art form. The Find feature makes it easy to retrieve the symbols you need. Pre-made grids are included.

The program allows you to:

Each symbols name is in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French-Canadian, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, German, Dutch, Norwegian and Italian.

Each symbol is translated into multiple languages and may be found and printed in any of the languages.

Symbols may be copied with no text above the symbol, one language above the symbol or any two languages above the symbol.

The Apple Macintosh version now has the same features as the Microsoft Windows version and is also OS X compatible.
